Composition

Dosage

Start by measuring out 20ml of the liquid in a measuring cup. Take this amount into your mouth and gargle with it for 60 seconds. In the beginning, do this 3 to 6 times a day. Perform the following steps for correct gargling technique:

Tilt your head back.
Open your mouth and say 'ahhh', without swallowing the liquid.
Keep the epiglottis, the small valve at the back of your throat, closed to avoid accidentally swallowing liquid.

It may take some practice to master this technique. (Practice with just some water first if necessary). When performed correctly, the vibrations at the back of your mouth cause the gargle to start moving, similar to the bubbling of boiling liquid.

Gargling causes the back of your mouth to be covered with the liquid. If desired, you can later switch to a maintenance dosage of gargling once or twice daily. The elixir may be swallowed after gargling.

Storage advice

Store cool, dry and sealed. Can be kept for 6 months after opening. Keep out of reach of young children.
