Golden Naturals Q10 Ubiquinol 50 mg contains 50 milligrams of ubiquinol, the body's own and therefore most biologically active form of Q10. Thiamine (vitamin B1) has also been added to this product, which promotes energy metabolism. Ubiquinol, unlike oxidized Q10, is ubiquinone, a ready-to-use form that is much better absorbed by the body. Research has shown that administration of ubiquinol results in higher Q10 values in the blood plasma. The differences are even more pronounced among the elderly than among young people. These supplements contain the best form of ubiquinol: Kaneka Ubiquinol QH™. This is the first and only ubiquinol in the world to be approved as a nutrient to date.
