In these terms and conditions, “we” and “us” means Golden Naturals Skin Care, and “you” means any person accessing or placing orders using this website.  Your use of this website constitutes your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Governing Law

We are based in British Columbia, Canada.  Accordingly, all matters relating to the access to or use of this website shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the laws of Canada applicable to the Province of British Columbia, without regard to the conflicts of laws principles thereof.  The courts of the Province of British Columbia shall have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute between us, and you hereby acknowledge that you have voluntarily submitted to such exclusive jurisdiction.  You are responsible for complying with your own local laws.  The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods will not apply to any order placed with us.

Changes

We reserve the right to change this website, and specifically these terms and conditions, at any time without notice to you; provided however that any such change shall not apply to any transactions entered into prior to the date of such change.  

Orders

Any orders and purchases made through this website are governed by these terms and conditions. All sizes and weights quoted on this website are approximate. All prices listed herein are expressed in Canadian dollars and are subject to change. We reserve the right to limit the quantity of items that you may buy, to cancel any unfilled orders and to decline to ship to certain areas.

We will use commercially reasonable efforts to arrange for delivery of ordered items in a timely manner, but otherwise will not be responsible for any delivery delays. All shipments are made using third party carriers, so terms of carriage shall be governed by such carrier’s shipping contract.

We use appropriate security safeguards to protect your personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access. Any personal information you provide to us is exchanged on a secure server. This website uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol, to encrypt, or encode, information you send to us in the ordering process. This encryption process protects information, such as your credit card number, billing and shipping information by scrambling it before it is sent from your computer. Your information is decoded only after it is received, and we make all reasonable efforts to ensure its security on our own system.

Medical Disclaimer

Information in this website is to designed to introduce you to our products and provide you with general information helpful to your decision about which product may be best for your skin-type.  However, this information is not intended to be used as a substitute for professional medical diagnosis or treatment. You should seek the advice of your doctor or pharmacist prior to starting any treatment or in connection with any health problems or questions.

Even though our products are made from 100% natural ingredients, some people may still experience an adverse reaction to them. We therefore recommend testing any skin care product on a small patch of skin on your wrist before applying it to larger areas or to your face.   You should not use our products on any broken or highly irritated skin, and if you experience a rash or any irritation after using any of our products you should immediately discontinue such use and contact a qualified physician.

Privacy Policy

We will not rent or sell your personal information to anyone else.  Any personal information you provide will only be used by us to communicate with you or to process your orders.  If you elect to be placed on our mailing list, you can at any time have yourself removed from that list, or change your contact preferences, by emailing us at orderdesk@goldennaturals.com.

We will only disclose your personal information to third party service providers to the extent necessary in order to process your orders or otherwise service your needs.  To reduce the risk of fraud or misuse of personal information, we may also take steps to verify your personal information with third parties.  We will only do so with reputable third parties who have signed a confidentiality agreement obliging them to keep all customer information confidential.

We of course reserve the right to release your personal information in accordance with any applicable law requiring such release.
